Plant Based World, the 100% plant-based exhibition and conference, has been postponed and will now take place on the 15-16 October at London’s Business Design Centre.
According to the organisers, these additional months will prove crucial for the delivery of a safe show, accommodating the government’s target to vaccinate all adults by the end of July and better rapid testing for everyone to feel confident to attend.
Visitors will be able to taste products, ask questions, meet new contacts and gain a deeper understanding of the benefits of introducing plant-based foods into a business. Brands already set to attend include Iceland, Aldi, Waitrose & Partners, Co-Op, Starbucks, Nando’s and Hello Fresh.
Jonathan Morley, managing director of Plant Based Global, said: “The move is welcomed and supported by everyone in the plant-based sector and the wider food industry. The new show dates will allow millions more people to be vaccinated against Covid-19 and only builds further anticipation for the in-person events we all miss so much, which will showcase the latest and greatest plant-based products.”
