Television studio becomes new home for Backyard Cinema

The Backyard Cinema will open its first permanent home behind the iconic doors of Capital Studios at Ram Quarter in Wandsworth this month.

The themed venue will expand on Backyard Cinema’s previous offerings to include an all-day bar serving cocktails on tap, beer and artisan pizza, accompanied by live music. It also has a separate 10 tap craft beer bar from Gipsy Hill Brewing Co. and will provide a residency for Mother Clucker and Honest Burgers in the large heated and seated courtyard.

Opening the doors to its biggest experience space to date, Backyard Cinema is launching ‘The Winter Night Garden’, transforming the television studio built in the ‘60s.

Dominic Davies, founder and creative director, Backyard Cinema, says:
“When we found Capital Studios at Ram Quarter we knew we wanted to make it our new home. The sheer size of the venue will allow us to expand creatively and offer so much cool new stuff. A craft beer bar, bespoke Honest Burgers, live music, vegan ice cream and even more immersive cinematic adventures than before. In the future we’ll be adding karaoke booths and theatrical cocktail experiences as well.”
