The Science Museum in South Kensington has revealed a first-look video giving an exclusive preview into its brand new events space, Illuminate, which is due to open early 2019.
Clients looking to secure the first bookings in the new space will be able to do so from 27th June at The Meetings Show, where The Science Museum will be alongside their exclusive caterer for Illuminate: Moving Venue.
With a wealth of experience catering for special events, Moving Venue were chosen to complement the museum’s ethos of innovation and discovery.
They will create tailored menus incorporating the latest trends and food styling for the diverse range of events that can be accommodated in Illuminate. The Science Museum and Moving Venue collaboration will see event bookers receive a bespoke offering that is fit-for-purpose in the pioneering new space.
Meeting industry demand for a fully dedicated conference and events space, Illuminate will be one of the first of its kind in the unique venue.
Exclusive partnerships such as these with Moving Venue and White Light – the assigned AV partner – will bring the venue, catering and AV elements together in streamlined event packages, ensuring a convenient and cost-effective booking process for clients.

Illuminate is situated on levels four and five of the Science Museum and will be available for both daytime and evening hire for capacities of up to 400 for dinners and conferences and 450 for receptions. One of the unique features of the new space will be a panoramic window on level five offering stunning views of the City and an abundance of natural daylight, a key element in ensuring a productive meeting or conference experience.
