Yvette Chatwin has been named catering services director at London’s Emirates Stadium, home of Arsenal Football Club.
The Emirates is a flagship catering and hospitality contract for Delaware North UK.
Chatwin will take over from current general manager, Helen Landau.
After five years at the helm, Landau leaves the company at the end of May to take up a position as Operations Director for Hatfield House in Hertfordshire.
Chatwin has strong track record, with 20 years’ experience in the contract catering industry, from early days with the Roux Brothers, through Compass Group and, for the past eight years, helping to build Searcy’s award-winning portfolio of venues, where she has specialised in conference and events. She has significant experience in the hospitality and production of large scale events.
Doug Tetley, Delaware North MD, said “Yvette is an exceptionally talented and experienced executive with a strong track record in world class hospitality. Helen Landau has set a very high standard in her time leading the team at the Emirates. I am confident that Yvette will safeguard that legacy and build upon the very strong operation already in place.
“It’s been a phenomenal experience” said Helen. “I am extremely proud of the team I have built and the fact that we consistently maintain exceptionally high standards of food, creating a very positive customer experience within the stadium.”
Chatwin described her new post as “an amazing opportunity” and added “I am passionate about delivering excellent catering operations, building positive relationships with clients and creating memorable experiences for all our guests. It is an honour to be working at such an iconic venue”.
