To kick off the NFL season Heliot Steak House, the award-winning restaurant located inside The Hippodrome casino, is launching London’s largest plate of nachos, as part of its annual NFL menu.
Available every Sunday until the end of the season in February 2018, head chef Ioannis Grammenos, has created the Heliot Monster Nachos, which weigh in at an impressive 4.04kg.
This jaw-dropping dish, priced at £50 and designed to serve eight people, has 11 ingredients including 800g of tortillas, 750g of five bean chilli, 300g of USDA prime ribeye steak, 300g of chicken, 200g of guacamole and equal amount of soured cream, topped with 1000g of grated cheese.
To celebrate the launch, Heliot is challenging four diners to finish the whole superbowl of nachos in 20 minutes. By doing this they win it for free, along with a £100 voucher for Heliot Steak House and a pitcher off beer to wash it all down.
The extensive Heliot NFL menu also includes three versions of classic game food, the hot dog; the Chicago Dog, topped with banana peppers, pickled relish, tomato and onions; the Detroit Dog, topped with chilli cheese and onions; and the New York Dog, topped with sauerkraut sautéed in tomato spicy and spicy mustard.
Other options include a Cuban sandwich filled with pulled pork, ham, chicken, salad and cheese sauce, a cheese quesadilla with sour cream and a chicken sandwich with herbs, all served with fries. Game fans can also enjoy an array of favourites including; cheeseburgers, jalapeño poppers and buffalo wings.
