It isn’t always nice to be critiqued, but it can be very useful. Having someone come to you with a fresh approach, ideas and imagination can really help to move your own thinking patterns forward.

Whether it is just a pair of eyes to look over your creation and notice something you had missed, or just a like-minded individual off whom to bounce ideas, never be afraid to take opinions on board.

The famous Bannatyne Health Clubs are themselves undergoing a catering transformation under new F&B chief Drew Brown, with a host of new culinary concepts and beliefs sure to take them forward (page 38).

Following a fire in 2010, Hastings Pier has reopened to the public, with renowned caterers leading the iconic attraction’s new catering concepts (page 24), while Madame Tussauds uses the forks and takes corporate hospitality guests to a galaxy far, far away (page 20).

Our lead feature comes from the biggest tournament in golf as Sodexo takes on board influences from London’s Soho for The Open at Royal Troon Golf Club in Scotland (page 17).
